Thanks for the detailled explanation. You're definitely much more versed in Star Trek lore than me^^

Nice. Now I am wondering what your Locutus of Borg would look like...

Randy Ramos

Great ending! Loved how it tied back to 'Q Who'.

Amazing…

Well, 😏 Drawing from established Star Trek canon, from Voyager, we know that baby Borg exist within the Collective. This would imply that there is a reproductive or assimilation-adjacent process at play within the Borg infrastructure, involving both biological and technological mechanisms. In this story’s context, the female crew would have undergone their own transformations tailored to align with the AI’s long-term goals of biomechanical perfection and expansion. While the male crew may have been focused on physical augmentation for immediate tasks, the female crewmembers probably play a critical role in helping with the continuity of the new collective, potentially incorporating reproductive and nurturing functions within the framework of the Borg’s mission to spread and perfect their kind. Their transformations would most likely prioritize traits that facilitate the growth of the collective—possibly through integrating biological reproduction into their cybernetic enhancements or serving as nodes for creating new drones. This would line up with with the idea of the Borg assimilating and optimizing every function of life to serve their purpose. 😈

Well done!

Great as usual. The transformed male crew standing in line, but what happened to the female crewmembers?
