Something along the lines of:
with further exposure to the sun rays the symbiont took full advantage of the sun’s power and continued pumping Scott full of its chemicals to complete their change.
A soft moss now covered his massive, rock hard body as his transformation to the 10 foot muscle god - the great one - was complete.
