Still active but as you know lots of 3rd gen idols are in the military and just coming back! You did guess the leader to be right! Shownu, the converter haha also Wonho is a member that was a part of Monsta X but had to leave the group for protecting the group since he was targeted with controversy (not a bad controversy at all but Korea really takes cancel culture way to far), so he went solo under essentially the same entertainment label. However, true fans of Monsta X are OT7~

He indeed is Monsta X leader 🙌 but he's also one of the best dancers in kpop, he was a backup dancer for THE Lee Hyori, trained for so long that he even was at JYP for some time, he was gonna debut with GOT7 😱 so they're really close. He used to be a swimmer so his physique is flawless ✨ tbh all of their physiques are (now even more) just chef's kiss, hence the group name hehe - JOOHONEY, formerly known as Jooheon (the explosive rapper & my bias 😍) is THE ACE: one of the best rappers in kpop, but also, has some of the most amazing VOCALS I've ever heard, his dancing is so smooth, so effortless, so clean. Plays the drums, composes, writes lyrics (wrote, composed and arranged "Gambler"), etc.!! Even if his whole aura screams bad boy, he's a cutie patootie, a mood maker, funny af!! -IM (the other rapper with the deeper voice) is our maknae! In the beginning, when they were gonna debut, since it was thru a survival show and he joined almost at the end, they didn't really like him :( but now, after 10 years, ofc they all love him and can't imagine the group without him! He's a great rapper, the main English speaker and has the personality of a black cat 🤭 -Yes, they used to be 7 but...we don't talk about that 😭 just if you ever get the chance, pleaseee listen to the member who left (WONHO)'s music, he's now a solo artist and he's got great songs!! -Everyone in Monsta X is great at what they do, they all add something to the group and are the reason why it's been one of the greatest, most admired, respected, and hard to copy groups for 10 years!! Please do listen to more of them, they have the best English songs repertoire!! 🔥
