Erza x Natsu - First Mini Comic

Hello guys! I officially created my first ever "doujin" with dialogue (I'll upload the picture without dialogue as well, a bit later on). This was originally a commission but I turned it into a mini-comic since this was always something I really wanted to do. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to create longer doujins as well!

Nevertheless, I hope you guys like it and sorry about the dialogue, I know it's a bit cringe-worthy.^^

Have a nice day!

• I left the panels the way they're because before I added dialogue, no one seemed to be having an issue following them, so I left them as they are. • elements overlapping other panels is a good idea, thank you! I know they do it original comics as well, I just felt it'd be way too stuffed. • I don't draw the text by hand that's the reason hwy it looks the way it does. It'd take way too much time to draw all of them, especially since I tend to rewrite them a million times. ^^' But I'll probably just use some other "comic" -like fonds in the future.

First of all, thanks for the in depth feedback!

Constructive Feedback: The layout is slightly confusing, the panels are a bit difficult to follow in chronological order. Shouldn't the mini-panels in the upper right panel switch positions with each other? Furthermore, don't be afraid to have elements overlap from other panels. For instance in the large upper-right panel, Erza's back foot is cut off by the panel to the upper left. Leaving it in to bleed onto the left panel would actually look more cohesive. Sentences that trail off are written with three "." not two, like you have in some places. Also, don't be afraid to play around with the text placement inside speech bubbles. Think of them like drawing a visually pleasing layout rather than plain text. Not all of the text in the same bubble needs to have the same alignment, size, font, rotation or colour, try to "paint" it with the shape of the bubble in mind to make it look natural. Great job though! ^^
