I love this album bc it IS so different than anything the arctic monkeys have ever done. The lyrics give me Father John Misty vibes

2022-10-23 02:38:24 +0000 UTCAlex changed the direction, then he showed what he has written to the drummer who loved it and together with the rest of the band convinced Alex to not release it as a solo record. Also, the cover is a pic taken by Matt (drummer) and has nothing to do with the album! In fact, Matt says drumming for this album is more challenging because of its nuance. I think listening to the last shadow puppets shows how they progressed to this point. Also, Jamie wrote the music for Sculptures. Lyrics for this album and tranquility need a few listens!!
