Added 2025-11-23 13:46:57 +0000 UTCthe events and people we encounter in our day might be fake, might be robots from other countries. the news might just be advertisements. you can't even trust videos of cute animals anymore. that adorable possum is stealing someone's drinking water and warming the planet.
if we could go back in time and talk to someone about our day to day hassles, it would be mental illness. if we could go back in time and journal about our feelings, we'd win the PKD award for paranoia. but we can't go back. and we aren't sick and we aren't special we just have to sit through this world like everyone else.
there are different kinds of 'aspirational' feelings, and sometimes after days and months and years of confusion and worry about the world, well sometimes the release we hope for can take the shape of an oncoming taxi. or a slap in the face. something!
something has to happen.
