I was wrong, Eren not only saw that fragment of himself manipulating his dad when he kissed Historia's hand, but everything it seems. And about Ymir... -The creature that attached itself in Ymir's back is, or at least is based on, an Hallucigenia, which is an ancient animal. -When she first transforms, the "spark" that appears when every shifter transforms was shaped in ressemblance of a tree. -When Ymir died and found herself in "The Paths", you can see that "The Coordinate" was jus a big pilar of light, but when her daughters eat her remains three "branches" appeared from the coordinate, which simbolizes the connection with the titans (now the coordinate also looks like a tree, with each "branch" representing a subject of Ymir). -Idk the reason she still served king Fritz after becoming a shifter, maybe it's beacuse she had a submisive personality, even before she was turned into an slave by the Eldian Empire, but I can tell for sure that she didn't regenerate from the spear because she lost her will to live realizing that king Fritz didn't love her for real and only saw her as a tool.

And as she died, the Paths/Coordinate was created, if you take a look, when she died there was only a big tree (like the one she entered when she encountered the โparasiteโ), but as her daughters Maria, Rose and Sina devoured her(thatโs why titans eats humans) the Paths/Coordinate divided in three branches, and so on, and on until every subject of Ymir was connected to them.
