2022-10-08 03:05:24 +0000 UTCI don't know how he'll factor into the story but I could totally see him as the perceived bad guy until you find out later on that he was actually an undercover PI the police or FBI planted to dig up dirt on the mafia. It would be revealed that he was found as he'd either be killed or switch sides. The audience would never know until the end wether he truly betrayed the feds or if he is playing the mafia doing worse and worse things in order to keep her cover until her can blow the case wide open and finally retire. By the end the audience feels conflicted and he's foced to make a choice. By this point he has the blood of fellow agents and innocents as well as rival mafia members on his hands, and he's not sure he’ll finish this job alive. He's faced with an ultimatum does he finish he undercover assignment and fall on the perverbial sword bringing the mafia down with him and hoping to in some way atone for his sins or does he cave and fully betray everyone and everything he dedicated his life to taking the last step off the edge past the point of return living the rest of his days in the lap of luxury afforded by blood money, with his demons haunting him through flashbacks and nightmares till the day he dies. At least that was the tangent my mind went on when I was this classic cat.
