This is next week's page, sine this is an off week for updates, but I'll be posting completed pages to you guys as I manage to knock them out. I'm aiming to finish at least one page a week for a couple of months, then go back into weekly updates with two month's of buffer. We'll see if it works out that way, but that's the goal.

This page took longer than I'd have liked, but it's also fairly detailed, and if I were posting a page this week, it would have been done just in time. And I also knocked out some page roughs. Unfortunately, the next 2-3 pages will be just as detailed. Lots of group shots. Honestly I wanted more characters in the third panel of this page, but knew I'd be going over time. I might add more in later. I want to show that there's a fairly large number of people on the platform, not just our main characters here and a handful more. It's few for the sheer size of the platform, which covers an area the size of a moderately large city, but is hundreds of levels up and down. The magnetic lifts can cover a huge distance in a short period of time, so people end up spread out to where there can be hundreds of miles between small groups of workers. Combined with the Fusion Burner, which is massive by itself, the platform would be nearly 25% of the main Sprawl city in size. But beyond the tower and the burner, much of that is spread out across hundreds of miles of ice.

That so much of the operation is automated gives a clue as to why unemployment in the city is so high.

Anyway, the rest of this week will be devoted to finishing some freelance work to pay the bills, and hopefully you can all look forward to another page before this one gets posted next week.
