Good News Everyone!

Things are finally falling into place. I was just paid for a big freelance job I did about a month ago, and my day job was extended until the end of June. Also, I will be moving in July to cut my living expenses to less than half of what they are now.

Because of all of these things working out, unless something astoundingly bad happens between now and then, I will be able to take the summer off to focus on trying to live off of my art again.

Instead of a day job, I will be working on a paid comic project that my day job has so far prevented me from making much progress on, and I will also be taking commissions for additional money.

On top of that I'll be doing more here with Patreon.

Up until now, the plan was to finish the first full 300-500 page book of "The Sprawl" and release it as a digital copy to my supporters. With the extra time I'll have I'm hoping to release the first two 60-page chapters as individual PDF ebooks so you guys won't have to wait for the entire book to be finished. The PDF versions will be higher resolution than the website version.

I'll also be posting more concept materials and page previews and hopefully some additional content like Patreon exclusive desktops and pin-ups, depending on how much free time I actually have after comic work and commissions. Because I'll be replacing my day job hours with paid art work I do not expect to have more time to work on The Sprawl itself, so it will remain one page a week.

All of this will begin around the end of June, beginning of July.

If this works out over the summer I intend to continue with this plan into the fall rather than going back to my current day job.
