Really wanted to make some Miya art done since she's one of the top voted ocs~

It's been a while since ive gotten personal but it's been a rough day. I got my most recent page deleted off e6 and when I fixed it i got dinged for reuploading a duplicate, and got into a spat that lasted about 2 hours with one of the mods. short story is I got really defensive when they called my gif quality "shitty internet meme made from movie screencap and uploaded to tenor" and said I should be doing it another way that takes care of the artifacting, but made all the smooth gradients covered in awful banding. a HUGE no-no in the design world. and ALL of my ocs have gradients in them.

Essentially with gifs its either artifacting or "banding"
But of course it's not the artist who gets to decide.

I told him I don't even want to deal with gifs anymore on his site and will just be uploading APNGS, which are very high-quality but almost no other website supports. So embeds will fail.

Anyway nothing here on patreon will change, just am really sad I lost like 3-4 hours compressing gifs and arguing with mods. They low-key threatened to delete all my other dithered gif content, so —while I rant here, please don't call any more attention to it. I worry the power might go to their head and I'll get more pages taken down.

I'll probably finish up this illustration and post it in a week or so. I was hoping to finish it today but the interaction today really took a lot of time and energy out of me. Helps to talk about it but best to ignore it and move on.
