We owe you one more strip and post, and we'll try to get it to you this week! My life is essentially about Kickstarter fulfillment at this point and I apologize.
I started going over to Mork's after we met in News Production, and his mom is like… one of those moms. You know what I mean? Like, one of those cool moms. Not only was she funny and rad, a lot of times when I'd go over there there were brownies she had timed to exit the oven the moment we walked in, at a point of molten perfection. They were essentially a liquid. You could effectively drink them with a straw.
They were very aggressive about wanting me to watch Wallace and Grommit. They were correct to be! It's really, really good. Wallace does that thing with his hands when he's talking about cheese, and it's a bright spot in a universe of e'er encroaching darkness. But they never said what it was - they were just like, have you seen it? It's really good! At anytime, if they had said "it's a physically animated series about an inventor and his clever dog. Cheese Figures prominently" at any point I would have said, yes. Let's put that VHS cassette into the VHS Player, switch the video input, and press play. That's how it worked! There were steps involved. But I just heard this name and this name, with no extra info, and thought it must have been these well-dressed tiger men. He literally didn't know this until I told his last week.
So, what's going on with you? I'm writing three books - Acquisitions Incorporated Origins: Tizabo, Acquisitions Incorporated Origins: Tizabo But Porn, and the third Lexcalibur book. Back when I was working on the Precipice games, I learned that as long as a writing task was mechanically different in some way - prose to poetry, or to "very long spreadsheets full of special abilities and items to describe exhaustively," there's essentially no writer's block. I basically never have to stop if I have enough distinct tasks and enough tea to grease the process. And I'm never without these things.
