Thanks John! Someone figured it out and yes I kept the sample rate to 44.1khz , didn’t change it . He mentioned the frequency noise and how to fix it on audacity. And I’m glad it’s fixed now! It made me lose some sleep thinking about it lol. Now I just need to apply it to all my future audios 🥰

The high-pitched noise is gone (great!), but lowering the sample rate from 44.1kHz to 16kHz does reduce the overall audio quality. I apologize for the confusion—what I meant was to apply a filter to muffle the high frequencies, not to lower the sample rate. I’m sorry I can’t offer a definitive solution, but if you have a bit of time, you might want to try searching for: "How to remove background noise in [your software name]" "How to apply a low-pass filter to remove high-frequency noise in [software]" But if you don’t have time, no worries at all—the high-pitched noise isn’t a huge issue! Also, I noticed you mentioned posting photos of the audio settings, but I’m having trouble finding them—apologies if I missed them. Thanks again for being so active in your community, and much love for your hard work!

2024-10-02 17:29:38 +0000 UTCHey, your audio is great. I only have one thing on which I'd like to see improved in the future audios: there is a faint very high pitch sound only when you talk. The quick way of fixing this would be to post-process the audio and add a filter that removes everything over 16KHz for example, or some specialised effect to remove unwanted audio noise. The other option would be to buy a new microphone. Anyway, great audio, thank you!
