I'd like your thoughts!
Added 2020-12-03 00:56:09 +0000 UTCSo I just had a bit of a different idea for the game.
As a player, you get the ability to reset and try again if things aren't working. So I'm wondering if that should actually be incorporated into the game properly?
So the idea would be that there is a kind of save scum mechanic built into the story, where your character can reset things a bit. People have been asking for more and more fantastical mechanics, rather than realistic ones, so I might try and lean into that a little more.
Let me know what you think! Message me directly if you're shy! :)
(Oh by the way, the "story version" is coming along fairly well, I'll release some more info within a week)

Yeah, for now, I've been sticking to a more linear-ish story. I'll hopefully be able to combine it with a more open game later.

2020-12-11 00:05:37 +0000 UTCThat is a very good idea! I'm not sure how I'd implement it, but a system like that could work well, or possibly the girl will get freaked out if you always give the "right" answers (because that would sound really fake and insincere)

2020-12-06 23:37:59 +0000 UTCMmm, yeah. My main worry would be that you have to skip through early dialogue again and again so it might be better to have points that you can just jump to. It'll make more sense when the new version of the game comes out.

2020-12-06 23:36:51 +0000 UTCHonestly that is a very fine line to walk on like maybe if you can make something where if someone restarts the game after a like affection choice make it so they can only get half the points they would normally get if they got it right on the first try if that is possible.
