Fitness Trackers and Web Bluetooth

Crazy idea. No promises, but something I'm interested in tinkering in, you know, for science and education ;).
So I thought about wearable watch-like Fitness Trackers that have Bluetooth and I just came across this:

I'll probably try looking into this thing, see how the two fits together, and maybe how it can tie into game interactivity ;)

We're mostly interested with the accelerometer. So strap that on one arm, and start "exercising" lol. The more movement, the faster the movement on screen ;). Well, that's the idea at least. The alternative is shaking a small wireless mouse that's strapped to your arm with a velcro.
