Game of Thrones Poll

Some people have been relentless in asking me about Troy doing Game of Thrones. Logically, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever for him to do a TV show that isn't a miniseries after Harry Potter, yet people are persistent, so I decided to create a poll here to start and end all discussions. This is not a discussion about which character he should play (if he does), but whether he should do it at all or not.

PS: This is not a guarantee on whether he'll do the show or not. Only posted to have a clear open discussion here rather than in DMs. The ultimate decision will be mine alone based on how the story progresses when I go there. Sometimes somethings just don't make sense based on the flow of the story.

Not at the moment.

Any thoughts about joining super hero movie, like spiderman or maybe an original character perhaps making gambit or Iceman standalone movie. It would be interesting to make Emma as spider Gwen

I hope that troy doesn't do got as I think its value for him is redundant as he is already famous and also being tied to one show for 10 years is not good for his growth. Also just a suggestion I really hope troy and Emma pairing is not permanent as suspence about final pairing of the story would become bland and I would really like to see him end up with some A lister like hollywood actress like Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie or Elisabeth Olsen.

I think George might even delay the film a bit for Troy. He's known to improvise a lot of things and the most iconic of these being how the entire purple lightsaber lore was born just because Samuel Motherfucking Jackson just wanted some purple lightsaber and George just said, "Sure." Heck we might even get Emma Padme's role since Fox might want to piggyback on Harry Potter fame

I think Star Wars could be good for him but I don't think he's the right age. Though given his tall height maturity and George Lucas' willingness to change the script for a star actor like him might work. Other than that I think he should take up some pure action films or even produce something like that with an original script. He's also going to be taking classes so it would be good practice. Also we need TroyxHermoine

assassin’s creed could have been a great 12 episode series for one season and then do something different on another and maybe make infamous games as films that could be nice

Let's not forget that HBO purchased the television rights in 2007 and HBO at this point has a relatively good relationship with Troy, so it wouldn't be crazy to imagine Troy being able to insert himself in some way to be a part of this wildly successful franchise. If not as an actor, I could see him having a role behind the scenes as a producer, casting, or even as director one or a few of the more impactful episodes. There might not be a sufficient character for him to play but I don't think you should discard this series from your story since there are so many avenues of growth for Troy to test and gain more recognition in this series. This is my biased opinion as a fan of the Game of Thrones series. ;)

what about turning a game in to a series or film i think thats more different and maybe it could be the start on troy having his own studio and that film being the first

Maybe once Troy is rich enough from all of the shares and showbiz gigs money he collected over the years, you could have him buy the rights of making the only One Piece theme park where he creates the concept of island hopping theme parks; Basically he buys multiple islands(The Philippines since we have over 7000 islands and because they're all gorgeous), and create theme parks out of it where each islands has a different and unique theme that represent a certain island from the story, and the only way to get to each island is the different pirate ships and some marine ships which are all cruise ships, that people could pay a ticket to get on board and sail through each islands in. Its gonna be a whole different ball game than Disney’s theme park, combined with tropical paradise as a vacation for all ages.

I still think that Troy should go for One Piece after the Harry Potter franchise. Considering that Game of Thrones will turn to shit in the later seasons because D&D wanted to end it sooner which led to terrible writing… yeah, nope. Don't want that over Troy’s reputation. With Oda’s complete control and involvement of the One Piece live action, I believe it wont turn into shit and will surpass Game of Thrones one day. It already surpassed franchises like Harry Potter and Star Wars. It just needs time to gain more attention from the public

A guest appearance or cameo could work? As much as most everyone loved GOT, does it really make sense for a Big screen actor to jump in and make his next major contract with a TV show? To be confined to the contract conditions for 8 years (If he's a main cast that lasts that long)? I could see it working with him from a producer stand point, or a minor character working.... but why would he settle for a minor character? What would GOT do to help in growing as an actor or a person? If he did sign onto GOT what character would give him a significant enough Character Arc to be worthwhile? Especially one that fits him at what 19-20 years old? I don't see him as a Robb, Jon, Theon, or Viserys. Which are about the only roles that would fit him around the time GOT starts filming. Honestly... The one out of all of those that requires the most acting chops in my opinion is Theon. Which I guess could be an intriguing experience, going from playing a character everyone loved in HP to one we hated and then pitied GOT. While yes it's popular... He's Harry Potter, already a household name. I feel like he'd get bored stuck in a GOT role, it's too confining for what I've seen from him. GOT is great, but it's not even in sight right now. It's what 2003 in his timeline right now? There's so much between 2003 and 2010 when GOT starts, whose to say he's not stuck in some other contract by the time that roles around? While yes the inner fanheart would love to see him be apart of a big and loved project like GOT, it just doesn't make any sense logically for him as an actor to take on any roles in that franchise.

Ariel

Not really. If you have any suggestions in particular, I would appreciate it.

TheLazyWarrior
