Whatever job

I did an interview yesterday morning. It went over well enough, but if I don't hear back from them this time... I'll finally go independent.

If this is the case, we would start off slow, with some YCH bases, then small commissions, etc. And my customer base will be selected mostly among Patrons. Of course I would like to focus on completing a few more of my own animations first, if not most of them.
We'll see if the job calls back. But this "independence" idea was being thought up right before I got the call for the evaluation. Whatever happens is gonna happen.

(This is a big comment. Again. But it's because I feel strongly about ALL of this, that I'm going to say. So please read it through.) I really hope that you get that job Bif. I don't know if going "Independent" will work for out for you. You had things getting in the way of your Animating, already. With one of them being job hunting, of course. I'm aware that this wouldn't be a problem anymore, either way. But Commission work could interfere more. With things like deadlines, and a schedule that could feel forced. That's why I don't plan on doing Commissions, once I start. And sadly, though I'm a dedicated Patreon Member, I don't have the money for Commissions, either. My plan was to not do anything Commission related. Selling them, or buying them. (And getting my finances back in order is keeping me from doing anything like this, anyway.) But I could be wrong. Maybe this will work for you. Maybe it'll help you focus. You could finish things with a schedule. Both your things, and Commissions. And it may not even feel forced. It'll be YOUR schedule, after all. And the deadlines, could be seen as Goal Markers, instead. They could be a nice, healthy, PUSH towards your goal. That, once again, you'd make for yourself. And you'd have the money first, so that can be like some kind of Financial Security. So you'd be free to Animate. Without any worries. And as I've said, the job hunting, would be over now. It'd be a change within everything. But it could be a change for the better. Let's see what happens soon. And I hope it works out wonderfully for you.
