It's worth getting as far as season 3 just to meet Alcide 🔥🔥🔥 but you'll meet my favourite, a very sexy and likely familiar face in a few episodes. The actor who plays Jason was on a long running Australian soap for years where he also played a total himbo. He's much hotter here though imo. I love the whole opening credits montage thingy, in this age of streaming, binge watching and "skip intro" buttons they don't tend to put a lot of thought or money into that part anymore

He’s the “nice guy” type, the ones who think they are good guys but when the girl they like is into another they get aggressive. The fact he yelled at Sookie like that and dragged her into his office? Gross. 🤮

Sookie is Canadian-New Zealand, Bill is English, and Jason is Australian. They all do such amazing Southern accents you wouldn't even know. For me, the best part about this show is the allegory of this show is the parallel to societal attitudes towards gay people. You'll see all the signs over times. For now, there's: God Hates Fangs = got hates f@gs Comin out the coffin = coming out the closet

But, yeah, Hoyt is Judd, and for Rene (the guy you couldn't place), think OUAT ;). Lafayette and Tara always crack me up 🤣🤣🤣. Those two have no filter 🤣🤣🤣. I will say, I have a feeling that you will like a particular character that shows up in a few episodes ;)

It definitely gets better as it goes on. And my favorite characters haven't been introduced yet. I think you'll start to like it more as you settle into the oddness of the show.

But there are some proper dramatic scenes as well. You might have recognized actor playing Rene from OUAT :). Lucky thing Jason is so very hot because vampire Bill is just not doing it for me. We will have to wait a bit for some more proper eye candy xd but there will be more :)
