That being said, I have to say that this was one of the New Directions better choreographed routines. They have an annoying habit of just walking back and forth to hide the fact that most of them can't dance except for Brittany and Jake.

It opens up SO strong with Homeward Bound/Home (such a comfort mash up that feels like a warm hug) and then we just get sent all over the place from there. I do love Come See About Me; I feel like it was a do over of Say a Little Prayer but better since we actually have Britt and Santana singing instead of a whole gospel choir as Quinn’s backup. The Warblers songs were over the top and ridiculous. Let’s Have a Kiki/Turkey Lurkey Time 🫠🥴😵💫 I still haven’t processed that event. And Gangnam Style as a competition number? Finn should have listened to Santana. Everyone should listen to Santana. She was right abound Marley. She was right about Kitty. She was right about Quinn. That’s what everyone should have learned from this Thanksgiving. Santana is right. End of sentence.

2023-05-05 05:12:24 +0000 UTCThe most annoying thing about the Kiki/Turkey Lurkey song was that Chris (Kurt) begged to have Let's Have A Kiki on the show. He's a huge fan of the Scissor Sisters the band that originally sang that song. So I feel like Ryan was messing with Chirs by doing that stupid mash-up. It wouldn't be the first time either. Lea begged to do a certain Celine Dion song and Ryan gave her a Celine song but not the one she wanted. I think the song Lea wanted was Because You Love Me which Tina sings in Props. Ryan would give the cast songs they wanted but he always found a way to twist it. I don't think Chris ever begged for a song again.

2023-05-05 03:10:19 +0000 UTCI like this episode for the Klaine make up mostly… and gndam style I know was huge Same with live while your young from one direction when this episode was released but to me it was so cringy the Gandnam style performance like they made the only Asian person on the team speak the Korean fully (aka Tina who’s Chinese I believe) and I’ve always had a thing especially in tv and movies where they have white or non correct Asians playing the role or speaking the role of Koreans… I mean if Tina knew how to speak Korean then that would be a different story altogether but I highly doubt it…. And marely’s predicament was not something I enjoyed watching all because of kitty too…

They're so obnoxious and pretentious drinking water from fancy bottles,or make believe coffee from empty cups walking around town. This was supposed to be Glee and outcasts and underdogs, nor Gossip girl in the City. Oposed to that we had The Unholy Trinity back together for a moment which was the most fun part of the episode. The energy Quinn and Santana brought back was great and they should've been the ones leading this show. Whatever they say sounds way more interesting and funny than whatever is happening around. Too bad tey tricked us into thinking there would be so duets between them and the new kids.

As much as I love Rachel and Kurt and as much as I enjoyed seeing Rachel make up with Brody and seeing SJP again, all of their scenes felt unnecessary. And the music choices were just weird. Like the first song was great and I loved The Warbler's performance, the second song they did was Live While We're Young by One Direction, they were at their peak of fame when this episode aired, I remember the hype about Glee covering a 1D song lol. But then the kiki/turkey song was so crazy, I've never heard either song before or since Glee. And I really don't think Gangnam Style was the right choice for the New Directions, the best part of it was Sam, I just love him. But hey, the next episode is MUCH MUCH better. I think you're going to love it. 😊

The turkey lurkey sequence really threw me off. I tried to focus on THE Shangela when I first watched it bc I thought I was having a fever dream 😂 I guess since the kids are split between graduates and seniors, that’d mean the sectionals episode wouldn’t be so focused on the competition? To be honest I completely forgot that was this episode. BUT the next episode. Oh Travis. It’s one of my absolute favorites. You are gonna LOVE it!
