This is by far one of my favorite MCU films, I really can't choose what I like more, this or Civil War. The Cap trilogy is definitely the best in the MCU in my opinion! The directors for this film did not need to put this much effort into it, I don't think many were expecting much but they put their all into it. The hand to hand combat is so well done, some of the best. The elevator scene is pure classic! I think teaming Cap up with Natasha was brilliant, they are so different and compliment each other so well, Steve is a soldier but Natasha is a spy and teaches him a few things and I love the friendship that forms between Cap and Sam, they are so good together. And yes, you just feel pure sympathy for Bucky, he's been brainwashed for so long and it always gives me goosebumps when Cap won't fight back and he says the famous line.
I will say if you like Chris in glasses then you should check out The Losers, another comic book movie that he was in! It's so much fun and he really gets to show off his comedic chops! He actually has been in quite a few comic book movies, another very underrated one is Push.

I counted 4 studs! Crucially, I didn't keep track till you said something so there might be some in the first 15 or so minutes that I missed, but I don't think so!

"STUD!" I lost count. Yes, MCU seems to traffic in studs of every gender. Glad you appreciate them.
You're coming into the Marvel gold streak now. Imo, from here on they discover and refine the perfect balance of serious and comic elements. (and studs)

Yeah, one of my favorite MCU movies to date! I'm glad you realized the winter soldier looked familiar. All I can say, for now, is poor Bucky! To have your mind repeatedly wiped, I can only imagine what that would feel like! In the MCU, Bucky was given a serum that was similar to the one Steve got. From what I gather from the comic book fans, their relationship is quite different than it is in the MCU. For one thing, Bucky is considerably younger than Steve in the comics, so they have more of a mentee/mentor relationship. Also, in the comics, Natasha (Black Widow) is a female, Russian version of Captain America. Can't wait for you to react to the next string of movies starting with Guardians of the Galaxy, another favorite of mine. I'm assuming you've seen Guardians of the Galaxy at this point, but, just in case you haven't, I won't spoil anything here! I will say that I don't think there's another weak MCU movie until Captain Marvel (2019), which is another MCU movie that is fairly unpopular (by MCU standards). When you get to Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, all I can say is whoo boy! It's a wild, very entertaining ride (in a completely different way from The Boys)
