Progress Update: Bit of a Delay

I'll start off by breaking some unfortunate news: I'll need a couple more weeks before I can start beta testing off.
As of yesterday, I have finished up the functionality of GtsScript & ironed out most of the major issues, and I actually finished up the example script just today.
As a result, I haven't been able to focus much on the other key features for this update, such as player tumbling (which is in an alright state, but has a few oversights I want to address) and importing player characters (which is very nearly complete).
I also need time to implement a way of executing scripts into the pause menu, for ease of use. Otherwise you'd need to manually execute a script via the console, which isn't very intuitive for a casual user. Not to mention cleaning up the mess that the old scripting system left behind... But I suppose I can save that for the next update.
I'm now aiming for November 16th to begin beta testing, and December 1st (probably earlier) for a public release. I apologize for the delay -- I'm trying to aim for a date that I think I can reasonably deliver the update by, but then work & other life stuff gets in the way, and then its somehow already November.
Anyways, thank you all for your continued support as always!! I hope to have some better news next week.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record given the previous comments, I would rather you be happy with what you want to put out than you rush for a date that is ultimately arbitrary. I'm sure we will all be happy with waiting for whatever you put out, as long as you take care of yourself and are happy with what you put out for us to enjoy. Take care! :)

2025-10-31 02:11:31 +0000 UTCI share the others' sentiment, take all the time out need, last thing I'd want is for you to burnout, especially if you set a too tight schedule. I would much rather have the release when you feel it is ready than to have a borked and incomplete update ^^
