Taryn recognizes that this is the same guy who was studying under the old scholar, Pidherny, and who also went under the title of Minister of Magic for the city of Lavenham. Now he's apparently an agent for the Corvus province and is here as an envoy? And what's with the mask?
The guy also claims Taryn is up to something, running around the countryside as a rogue wizard when really he's some kind of Capitol royalty. And what's with the eyepatch?
Wizard is startled and replies "BECAUSE I LOST AN EYE!"
Brett jumps in claiming he wears a mask because he's a cat. The stranger is impressed as Taryn loudly gives directions back to the ceremony this guy is obviously missing.
