Back with Deacon, his meditation has resulted in the coveted 2nd orb piece to arrive (the one on Florina's forehead). Deacon comments how all this trouble, all the effort for this one, tiny object was worth it to be in his possession once more.
That's when the third piece of the orb joins its brothers.
This is unexpected, because Deacon knows the third piece is with Despond...and if the third piece manifested itself that means Despond is close.
Allone, with the myerstious arrow his father presented him, observes and fulfulls his final mission. The arrow is sent flying....
