Rhaenyra continues to grapple with her suspicions about Daemon, wanting to tell Daenerys, but finding herself still unable to get the words out, both because of her reluctance to speak about the other Daemon and because she's found that she can't stop getting off to the sounds of them having sex. When a bit of good fortune gives Daemon the capital to buy their house from their landlord, though he does it to give Rhaenyra a few months reprieve, she sees it as ending up in his power, something that tempts her into things she never would have imagined.
