Greetings everyone,
time to let you in on one of the topics currently taking up the most of my attention and might influence to future of the game significantly. I talked about the art and the possibility of a collaboration in the past already. I now received the offer from one of the most prestigious and skilled AI-artists around (the man has many names, but on my Discord he goes by Skull-Lad. Some might have seen images by him already.) to help me rework the entire image catalogue.
Any sensible guy would probably get on his knees and thank the lord for an opportunity like that, but it comes at a strange time, since I spend the last two weeks mainly learning SD. The images above are part of what I'm currently able to generate in SD with my new knowledge, which is of course still subpar to the works of the pros, but more or less close to the previous style of the game with its soft shading and mellow colors.
So what's happening now? I already spent about 5-8h with Skull-Lad working on possible styles, combining models, merging models, adding different loras, changing vaes, etc. It's really strange seeing my own characters in different style and I'm very grateful for his patience with me so far constantly nit-picking on his honestly great images, just cause they are too different from the previous look of the characters . The perfect model still eludes us for now, one that will stay close enough to keep the characters recognizeable, while still allowing the creation of more vibrant and detailed images. I'm stil working on my own too (as can be seen by the images above, trying to find a model-mix that's just right), so maybe this will all come to fruition soon.
I will soon put up a few of the reworked images by Skull and then we might decide together on the future art-style of the game here.
Also I'm probably getting a new fan-written story to add soon :D With almost a dozen images from my very own super-talented student in the ways of AI-wrangling!! (I helped just a bit 😅 Red-haired girl above is his character, meeting Gina in a dream-scene.)
That's it for now. I'll keep you updated as always. Have a nice week, you all.
