Lillias Right in Sao Luis
Added 2019-08-02 22:22:22 +0000 UTCMy god friends, can you believe we have been on this Patreon journey for this long, and we are finally getting galleries! That is right no more dropbox links (except for presets and photoshop actions). I don't have it in me to go back in time and update the hundreds of posts I have done here, but going forward it is a whole new world!
That said I am just so excited to be able to share these galleries with you all a little bit easier than before.
This shoot with Lillias was from our trip to Brazil, and was shot midway on an intensely long and miserable travel day. We both were intensely sick, the light was difficult to work with, and we had actually only booked this hotel so that we could all shower before we began plane travel. Then we walked into this incredible space, and it felt like it would be such a waste if we didn't do something with it.
It took me months to figure out how to actually edit these images. My usual presets weren't working, and the yellow light just seemed absolutely impossible to fix. Then Lillias came over for an editing night, and while trying to demonstrate a way I manipulate color I slid one curve that just clicked everything into place. Turns out I needed to abandon color correct, and embrace a little cross processing!
This new preset is going to be released this month for all of my $25 and $50 patrons! I hope you all enjoy using it, and please share the results with me!
