I feel like Miss Margie and I have been trying to shoot for years now. We never managed to cross paths when I was in Philadelphia, and it would have been way easier for us to shoot, but this spring she found herself in Portland where I have been holed up for what feels like a life time.
Even crazier to me is that this entire set was shot 8 steps outside my front door. I wasn't actually sure where we were going to shoot, but when I went out to meet her I noticed the light along the path way was incredible, so I figured we could give it a shot, and if things weren't working we could just head over to the woods, but from the first photograph I knew that there was pretty much nothing I wanted to change. When I find perfect light I feel like all I have to do is not fuck it up.
And I think I managed!
