Sura in The Green House
Added 2019-02-17 04:23:50 +0000 UTCI've never had a place quite like this to work in: incredible light on days of heavy rain, safe, warm-ish. Sura came over on a day where the rain was heavy and intensely cold. The cold is rarely the problem when it comes to the models I'm lucky enough to work with. Ask anyone and they will tell you its not the cold its the wind or wetness.
So instead of killing ourselves in the rain we spent a comfortable bit of time shooting indoors, and then ran down to the creek for a photo i had been thinking about. I'd only just met Sura 2 days prior, but I was super excited for our shoot, and I just love how committed she is to the image. When doing something new its always fun to see how expressive a model feels they can be. Its one of the reasons I always like having series going that aren't just nature. The added human elements can make for such varied results.
Now that Sura and I are in the same city I can't wait to shoot again, and see what comes of it. Maybe on a warmer day!
