Hattie Watson for Into the Wild

It had been way too long since Hattie and I had lost shot. As I typed that it dawned on me just how long its been. I think our last time shooting together was when she first moved back to Philadelphia and we shot for Temperance.

Its been over two years since I last shot for that project, and I think Hattie was one of the earliest people I worked with for Temperance, and I worked on it for 2 years. So yeah far too long to go without working with her, but now we are in the same city in new parts of our lives, and walking through the woods on a warm winter day we could take our time and find the perfect spots to shoot.

It felt awesome after so long to be working with my friend again in a new forest. Every shoot is special, but doing something new with the people I have essentially grown up with in my
our artistic endeavors always feels particularly great. Like we have both been following these meandering paths that have come together and parted so many times, but still it feels like so little time has passed.
