Devon Deville for The Jungle
Added 2019-02-14 11:00:02 +0000 UTCI just posted the other day about how every trip I plan to LA I end up finding so many people that I want to work with that I get completely overwhelmed, and end up hardly shooting at all. It was until I really thought about it that I realized that Portland is basically the exact same thing. Living in Seattle I think I was doing a trip down to Portland every other month, sometimes more, but usually I wouldn't shoot that much on account of the same experience.
Devon and I have been trying to shoot for a long time, I can't even remember how many times we've ran into each other around, but the move has made it so that I can schedule all the shoots I have ever wanted to do here, and honestly I am so excited about what is coming together.
For our first shoot we shot right by a little ivy garden out back, and I just had a vision of an entirely black and white series of photos as we took them. Devon did these just incredible photos blending into the ivy and creating some super cool abstract shots, and I just loved the results.
