What is time off? I try to leave myself a week after a big trip where I have nothing planned, but it never really seems to work out. Its amazing how easily a week will fill itself with opportunity.
The more I feel I need the time the more rare the opportunity. These are the unwritten and unknown rules I have just come to accept.
So it was apparent to life, but not to me, that the 7 days I had planned to recover from 6 weeks traveling and shooting in Europe was not to be, and instead I would be creating for the first time with Denisa, an absolutely incredible model in Seattle from the Czech Republic.
So the day after my plane touched down I was up early, and off to the mountains with Denisa to shoot. We spent a couple of hours creating among the mossy maple trees in my favorite secret spot. Denisa is a powerful poser, and her dedication to creating great images exceeded my own. Despite the many times I find myself precariously perched at elevated altitudes I am actually terrified of heights. So to see Denisa effortlessly climb these tree's and dangle for photos was really quite impressive, and nerve wracking. Still the results speak for themselves!
