I write, but only for myself. I play drums, but I haven't in a long written a song with somebody else in over a decade.
We Were Wanderers in Japan was the hardest time I have ever had shooting nudes in nature. If you've read the blog post you know how it went, but in that failure I did what I could to make the most of our trip.
My love for Tokyo as a city is incredible. Every neighborhood is its own city completely unique unto itself, but cities are something I have always struggled to be inspired by for my photography. I think its because while its easy to feel alone in a city, its almost impossible to be alone, but the love hotels of Tokyo offer a private place that still captures the feeling of being on the streets in parts of Tokyo. I was enamored, and so we spent 5 hours renting different rooms, and creating alone a city of millions inspired by the people that mattered to me the most.
