A quick shoot with Jessa Jordan for The Jungle

Initially Jessa and I wanted to shoot for The Jungle when we did our last Into the Wild shoot, but the spot we hiked too didn't feel like it was clicking all that well for the feeling of The Jungle at the time.  An entire year later I feel like I was probably wrong.

I was looking through our folder because Jessa and I haven't crossed paths and I realized these photos were actually pretty great, and now I regret not having a bunch more of them to share with you, but that is kind of how this whole thing goes.  I'm not always right.  Fortunately the images we shot for Into the Wild were also incredible, but I do wish I had given this just a little more time to develop.

I am a fairly panicky shooter.  Even now after 10 years of shooting I still get worried that I will let the model down by not doing my best.  Anxiety is the worst, but I think it makes me a better creator over all.

Your note on anxiety is something I experience often also. Regardless of experience (or maybe more because of it and the expectation?) it seems the potential of failure or letting someone down never goes away.
