Well so far 2017 has been a roller coaster ride, and it seems like we are all getting tossed around by this thing whether we want to or not. I finally feel like I'm starting to get situated here in Seattle, and despite it having been two years I'm still learning how to do this Patreon thing.
When I started Patreon in 2014 my goal was to make $400 a month, and I thought with that I'd be set for good, as this has grown though I've been constantly blown away, but what all of your continued support has brought to me. Last month Nicole and I traveled for two weeks for a single shoot location. We fit in a few other things along the way that I need to work on, but because of you we made our Mirador Los Torres photo shoot happen.
We have a pretty ambitious schedule for the rest of the year as well. This month we are heading to Austin to do some shoots, and see some friends. March Alice X, Nicole, and I will be traveling through the Sierra Nevada's to shoot, and then we will be going to the Redwoods with Amber Rose McConnell. Most of the summer we will be home exploring the North West, heading to Alaska, and hopefully putting the finishing touches on Temperance the book. I know I have been talking about that a lot, but I promise things are in the works.
This fall we will be doing our second and probably last (at least for a couple of years) Arctic Nudes Workshop in Iceland. We have 10 slots for photographers interested in learning and shooting side by side with me in one of the most beautiful places on earth. After that it looks like we will be going to France, Morocco, and Japan to do some work for We Were Wanderers
In between I'll be shooting for Ask the Dust.
With all of that shooting and all of the content that has been amassing on here I'm going to be reworking my Patreon Tiers a little bit. If you are currently a Patron this will have no effect on the content you see, as I'm just going to cap off my $5 tier, and change the description to an Early Backer tier. You'll still see the same work, but new subscribers will not have it as an option.
I want to make sure I go about these reworks in the best way possible for all of you!
I have a lot of exciting shoots planned to go up this month. A few things for Temperance, and I will finally be releasing a short little series I am doing called Pulp.
I guess that is all for now. The shot above is from all the way back in 2012 when Nicole and I spend a February in Yosemite.
