T Lily Taylor for Into the Wild

What better way to celebrate our new home town than to jump back to the recent trip where I finally decided it was time to take the plunge and move to the North West.

I found T Liliy Taylor on Instagram, and I was super excited when she wanted to shoot with me while I was in Seattle. We woke up well before sunrise, and went out to one of my favorite places to hike/shoot in Washington, Rattlesnake Lake.The Weather in the North West pretty makes for perfect light all the time, so all we really have to do is get somewhere beautiful and the images practically create themselves.

I bounced back and forth between my 50mm F1.4 and my Canon 17-40mm for these as in the deep mossy forests I much prefer to shoot wide and capture all of the amazing textures, and shapes, and with trees I like to let the forest fall out of focus and focus more on the model.

In just a short time we created some amazing photos that I am really excited to share with you.
