Its been an incredibly busy summer. I just finished up my last shoot ever for Temperance. We took the wall paper down, and I'll be spending most of the fall/winter editing the last shoots for the series and finalizing a book. Its hard two wrap my head around finishing a series. When I ended Journey to the End of the Night I though I was done and had enough content to put something together, but when it came down to it there were only about 40 images I was really happy with, so nothing came of it. I moved out of the place the series was shot, and that was the end.
Not that this is an entirely dissimilar situation. After 10 years living and creating in Philadelphia Nicole and I have decided to move the the Pacific North West. September 30th we will be packing up all of our belongings and moving to Seattle to start anew. I'm very excited that unlike most people I can take all of you with me on this new journey! But back to Temperance
Tiffany was one of my first shoots for Temperance after my long long trip across America and abroad. We have been trying to shoot for years and things just happened to come together a few days after I rolled into my drive way. I feel like after years of near misses everything came together at the perfect time. Tiffany is an incredible model and really helped create some awesome and new images for the series. I'm always nervous when I get home and start shooting for Temperance again. There are a lot of things that can go wrong light, mirrors, composition, but it came together really well with Tiffany, and put me on the right track to create a ton of work before ending the series.
I'm looking forward to starting new and exciting in the next chapter of my life, and it feels really good to have finished something long term like this.
