The Gelatinous Amorphoids of Chimera-Sigma cont...

I must continue to express my admiration for the physical capabilities of the Amorphoids. I had expected their shape-alteration talents to be limited to rough shapes and basic forms, such as extra appendages and the like, but it seems they are far more skilled and capable than records indicate!

It was purely by chance that I pondered a past lover as ‘my’ Amorphoid elicited a particularly-demonstrative response from me.  When the Amorphoid assumed that lover’s form, albeit physically ‘enhanced’, I must admit to being startled.

I must remember to ask Raven if similar thoughts crossed her mind when ‘hers’ assumed that brutish form!

Post-Script: Once we were able to disentangle ourselves from our encounter with the local fauna, and were en route to our next destination, Raven confided an interesting fact:

“Y’know, if you’d wanted experience ‘pleasuremorphs’, there’s a resort we could’ve gone to.  Saved on travel costs.”

I was outraged that Raven believed the excursion to Chimera-Sigma to be a mere ‘pleasure voyage’.  And, while I was impressed with my companion’s worldly-expertise, I was a trifle miffed that she chose to share that information after our encounter.

I had us change course.  This resort bore a need for investigation.  For SCIENCE!
