I'm in a room thousands of miles away from Temperance...editing photos from home. Its nice to have a break...to know that I won't be able to shoot for this series for over a month, while I travel and try to figure out how to work and shoot in Mexico. I've always gravitated to cold grey climates...magical landscapes with soft light, but that is for another blog post.
I've done so many shoots for Temperance lately, so many little adjustments, so many reflections photographed. Its been amazing riding a wave of creativity, and while I was feeling moderately burnt out right before we left, I am still excited to share all these shoots coming up in the editing queue with you all.
I think that next year will more than likely be the last year for Temperance as it is currently. I've been tearing through old raw folders, old edits, old lay outs of the room to see what I want to put together in a book, seeing what worked and didn't.
Its been interesting. It takes a lot more work to get great shots in the room than it does for me outdoors. There are so many other variables that need little modifications for everything to come together. Its a stress I enjoy I guess.
These shoots with Okami, Sambalina, and Reed I'm especially excited about. I feel like despite having been done pretty close together in time I managed to get very different images.
