Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
Here we go, my friends - the start of our first Captains and Heroes exclusive Rewarding Awesome Rangers series! It's really important to me that y'all feel appreciated for going above and beyond with your pledges.
Each month we'll do a series of semi-sequential pics as chosen by you from the options provided by poll! As with everything I attempt here on patreon, this is an experiment and we'll refine and redefine as time goes on.
Chatting with Ranger Squad (stream regular) member Sarai while drawing AHMT #270 - The Floramorphs of Alberon-6 (8K) the idea came about for doing a colour "cover" page for the concluding series. That's gonna be fun for sure!
Beasts of the Known Galaxy series also features Daze's (the curvy elf gal) diaries as she writes her intergalatic bestiary. Legendary legend We're All Mad Here writes these and I am supremely grateful for all this work and assistance!
Enjoy!

------------------------------------------
The planet of Bast-3 has long been listed as “forbidden” for general visitation. In the interests of science, Raven and I made use of one of her illicit contacts to make a landing all the same.
There are many stories of the natives of Bast-3. Specifically, tales of a matriarchal, if not almost exclusively female, culture of warrior felinoids. Raven calls them “catazons”. How droll.
With this log entry, I must report that those stories are, if anything, understated.
We’d not been on the planet more than twenty minutes when we found ourselves surrounded by a force of local warriors. While Raven presented an admirable challenge to their martial prowess, I fear I proved to be nothing more than a hindrance. One of their warriors quickly subdued me, forcing Raven to submit as well. Our captors wasted no time in disarming Raven and securing us most thoroughly.
It was moments later that we were led by a leash, as though we were mere chattel. Of the two of us, Raven fared worse. She was secured so thoroughly, I wondered how she could walk.
All the while, our captors spoke of their plans for us. My scientific curiosity was aroused in speculation of what lie ahead.
Yes, my scientific curiosity. What did you think I was talking about?
