Nadya Lev, Sperohh, and Sylvia for Temperance
Added 2015-12-01 00:25:56 +0000 UTCI've had a really fantastic month shooting for Temperance during November. I felt like I had put so much work into the series over the summer that I was worried with fall coming I was going to fall into a rut. It happens, you get worried you are taking the same photo over and over again, even though in reality that is nearly impossible, and you stop shooting. Fortunately I have had so many amazing people make the trip to Philly to shoot for the series that I've had basically an endless wave of inspiration coming through the door...new faces, new collaborators to create with.
This month I worked with Sylvia (http://theesylvia.tumblr.com/), Sperohh (sperohhthebestof.tumblr.com), and Nadya Lev (https://www.instagram.com/nadya_lev/) I felt like with the addition of a new mirror I managed to come up with some really awesome shots. New angles, to tell little new stories. I'm never completely sure what I want Temperance to be. I think that if I was it'd probably be over a series. Learning by shooting is much more fun than sitting down and pounding out a thesis. I know I'm going somewhere. I'm just not sure where yet.
I love where it has been going though. Moments of eroticism, the way the camera and mirrors come together to freeze life, and tell a story.
