Porcelain for The Jungle
Added 2015-07-08 04:12:55 +0000 UTCIts so amazing to be lucky enough to have these ongoing creative collaborators. I met Porcelain in 2011, and we quickly became good friends after our first shoots. We've traveled to Europe together, and shot more times than I can count. You'd think after 5 years of shooting we'd maybe have started to run out of juice, but I really think every time we do something even more fantastic.
For our most recent shoot on a trip she was taking through Philadelphia we decided to shoot something with a little bondage, stockings, and lingerie in the forest near my house. We waited until last light just around sunset to get a perfect soft light. It was very early spring, so there were still no leaves on the trees, which made for a really great shoot.
I positioned her in this photo, so that the light coming in from up above us was lighting her eveny, and used the 85mm F1.2 at F1.2 to get an incredibly low DOF shooting through the small saplings around us.
