Gabriel Dropout Progress

I didn't realize just how much the end of the year took out of me. I have slept for 9 to 11 hours a day since January 1st rolled around. I've done plenty of writing in-between, but to be honest I just do not have another audio over 10 minutes in me right now. Gabriel Dropout is shaping up to be as long as Umamusume, and I just need to chip away at it rather than throw my entire being at it right now, especially since it requires more precise sound design. I'll be taking as close to a break as I can to work on some of the smaller scale audios - ones that don't feature four people, while making incremental progress.

The likely release order for this month is one new Backlog audio, Midnight and Mt. Lady, and hopefully Gabriel Dropout soon after, with Alice in Wonderland if I have time.

As I am always looking to improve the quality of my work, I went ahead and re-listened to every audio released in 2025, both for reflection and quality assurance. A few audios featured longstanding export errors (especially common when using L/R panning with a vocal effect applied, such as pitch shifting). The following audios have been tweaked or fixed:

Trucy Wright's Dirty Trick. Re-added a missing applause effect

Jane Doe & Tomiya's Bondage Buddy Dump. Missing voice line from Tomiya was re-added

Super Smash Bros. Stall Free-for-All - The "free" audio version was the wrong file. I hope you enjoyed the Samus wins alt free of charge! But... the buck stops here.

Yukari & Nyamo: Stuck in their Ways. Adjusted line pacing for the ending.

Lusamine & Cynthia: Gassy Girly Girls. Fixed issues with vocal panning coming out incorrectly - common export error

Pyra & Mythra Stinkin' Up the Place. Fixed issues with vocal panning coming out incorrectly - common export error

Bayonetta Powders her Nose. Fixed a cut in the vocals that accidentally had negative space in-between it

Umamusume: Team Spica's Got the Trots. Adjusting pacing for SFX, balanced anime SFX, and other assorted creative decisions. This one was pure perfectionism.

I'd like to thank you all for your warm reception to the Umamusume audio. It's one of only a small handful of audios to ever make its budget back through new sign-ons, off of an astronomically high $450 budget ($658 total not including art, but offset by generous patrons). Additionally, it's the fastest growing audio on the website to date, earning 3,000 listens in under 10 days, with the first 2,000 listens coming from the first two days alone. It's the kind of quality I hope to deliver moving forward for all big projects, so I hope you will look forward to more.
