Felix Tomorrow, Poll Results + Future Polls & Zelda Sketch

EDIT: 4:04 AM. The audio is much tougher to balance and pan than I expected. I'm already up later than I should be. I'll continue tomorrow, but I won't be able to edit until the afternoon or evening, so the audio will likely go up late in the evening or as a scheduled upload on the morning of the 7th. Good morning, everyone. The Felix audio is progressing well enough that I feel comfortable announcing it will release tomorrow evening. I hope you all enjoy!

Congratulations to Captain Zhu Yuan, New Eridu's finest, on taking 1st place in the poll! I'm aware some of you are rolling your eyes at yet another ZZZ win. So for those of you looking for something a little more out there, the Alice in Wonderland audio took 2nd! I admit, this was my favorite idea of the bunch and I was very happy to see it do relatively well. It's the kind of weird, concept-driven audio that just doesn't come about very often.

Which brings us to Rias and Sona, the 3rd place winner.

Both the Zhu Yuan and Alice ideas are single-subject audios with maybe one extra or secondary character. Considering Rias and Sona lost by just one point to Alice, I've decided to produce it anyway.

The main issue I moved from a weekly audio to bi-weekly audios was because massive group audios tended to do better in polls. Popular IPs with massive character counts will always win because they're competing with unpopular IPs with a single subject. I'm going to experiment with a system next month where I run three polls concurrently, seeded by number of characters - Solo, Pairs, and Group (3 or more). Zhu Yuan would be in the Solo poll, Rias and Sona would be in Pairs, and tomorrow's Felix audio would be in Group. It's a bit inefficient to run so many polls but it should at least allow for more diverse winners, prevent scope-creep, set expectations so no idea feels underexplored or stretched thin, and keep budgets in check. Most importantly, I can reasonably produce 3 patron-funded audios each month, rather than 2.
