Di for Temperance
Added 2015-03-10 23:00:47 +0000 UTCIts weird because I feel like I haven't been busy at all so far this year, but its really because I have been caught up on my photo editing for almost a month now, which is not normal at all. I'm still shooting a bunch, but I've had time to shoot one day and edit the next where I'm normally shooting one day and editing my way down a list that never seems to end.A couple days ago Di came back to Philly for a quick visit and a quick shoot. I was still working on Journey To The End of The Night the last time she and I got the chance to work together, so its been a couple of years. I'm definitely starting to lean towards a more erotic theme for Temperance. I feel like the dreamy voyeurism of every images being a reflection lends itself to that very well. Like anything that is a current work its hard to say where the work is going, but I feel like I'm onto something.I've switched to mostly aiming my light into the ceiling. The diffusion of the 60 inch softbox and the even larger white ceiling really gives the photos a well lit sort of contrast, but also allows me to shoot at even lower apertures than before. Most of what I'm doing now is around iso 200 and F1.4.
