Ryan- My mom smoked from ages 14 to 57, and NEVER though she'd quit. Then she found out her body had been retaining a case of HPV for 30 years and was progressing towards cervical cancer BECAUSE she smoked. After a number of cold turkey attempts in the past that had failed, she decided to take a medical route and was prescribed Chantix, and it worked WONDERS. She had a small bout of depression as a result from the nicotine withdrawal, but otherwise it went very, very well. I recommend you look into it or something similar, for your health's sake.
