Ancient Tech Treasury [27x67]

Hey everyone!

Ancient Tech Treasury won one of the latest polls we ran, and this is our concept for it. A bit of a classic dungeon set up, with some caves, ruins and a bit of magical technology at the pinnacle.

The party exploring this treasury dungeon have found a blow in vault door but have another 2 to go through. Maybe these are locked by puzzles, keys or magical spells. We've left it vague for you!

We wanted to use water as the mechanical power source here, as if ancient mechanic waterclocks had become a dominant direction of technology rather than steam or electricity. Culminating in some abstract water magitech.

Also we wanted to design something out of porcelain and gold because they don't get enough love in classic fantasy.

Reminder that our Map Remixing Contest will be finishing in 4 days, on the 20th of February! If you've been working on a remix, remember to post it before that date. Me and Peku will be judging the entries after that!

And lastly!

Porcelain and gold are such an under-utilized theme, but so gorgeous! If you were thinking of doing more in that style, you definitely should! Amazing work!

This is unbelievably exactly what I needed for my next adventure, gonna actually use this as a variation of an underwater temple. PERFECT
