In this one I believe Hamilton mentioned a few drug related books Naked Lunch, Gravity's Rainbow and Infinite Jest, does Hamilton or anyone else have some drug related books to read? I'd like to get a list going somewhat like Lex Fridmans reading list? Some non-fiction would be great too.

Hamilton, what mic setup was Adam using? The recording was excellent and both your voices came through extremely well, if not better than average. And no echo - either the studio or mic placement or both was also good. Desoxyephedrine rules!! I agree with you entirely. If there was a common decongestant or OTC drug that chemically reduced to 'amphetamine' then amphetamine would be the terrible street drug we rage against and Desoxyn might be the 'Adderall' of today. Seriously, Desoxyn is a much better drug for ADD ADHD. For individuals who respond well to d-amphetamine or 'Adderal', Desoxyn is a bit more of an entactogen. I know a psychologist who takes it as says "I can get my paperwork done on Adderal but cannot relate to my patients on that drug." "On Desoxyn, I can do both". Why has such a useful drug gone out of favor for ADHD? In all of Dallas, two pharmacies stocked it, then only one, now none. They reported they lost money on it. Full cash retail price is over $2000. Best GoodRX price is $325 and the pharmacy says it costs them over $400 so they quit filling it. But to confirm, yeah, there is nothing special about, say, 10 mg Desoxyn vs 15 mg Adderall except that it is a bit more gentle in providing focus and energy. And while they could get it, none of my patients turned into toothless drug fiends. It was pricey but they were sad to see it disappear. As you have said. "The dose makes the poison." If you or anyone else can comment, what is the mg dose of street methamphetamine that is used or abused?
