2025-09-25 20:49:17 +0000 UTCThe thing I find hilarious is I read somewhere (might be a little detail from the manga or something?) that the reason the ex-Claw members respect Reigen so much right now (other than what happened in their season 1 encounter) is because they think Reigen had the genius foresight to predict Claw would try to overtake everyone and attack espers who are a threat so he purposefully set himself up to be humiliated on national TV and pretend to be just a normal guy so that he could lay low under the radar and avoid being targeted by Claw 😂 He did come back to see his office burn down but hard to say it easily wouldn't have been so much worse had they still believed the reports on what happened in season 1 and thought he was a crazy powerful esper like Mob, haha. This ep was major whiplash for sure but I think you two are on the right track!
