A far-ranging discussion with one of the greatest contributors to the science of psychedelics, this is a good one!

Interesting concepts! I come to this field from a philosophical and spiritual concept firstly, science secondly. Mainly because I’m not as well versed in the science of it all. That’s why I have Hamilton, haha!

Interested to know if anybody on this patreon knows more about this topic - or knows somebody who does - and/or would like to discuss some interesting theories/hypotheses/psychology/anthropology/philosophy. Very much so interested in the “as is/so below concept”. In both a spiritual and scientific way. I had the epiphany that it is related to the whole mind/body unison concept. With listening to these podcasts I’ve had countless personal and philosophical realizations about the mysterious connection between plants, the mind, and the body. I think it was the datura livestream that mentioned something about plants having personalities, as well as another guest mentioning the time that he spent with a culture that “knew what a child was going to be/what power they would yield”, just by looking at the “swirls on their head”. This leaves me super interested and fascinated by the potential of somebodies genetic makeup reacting with certain plants, giving them certain “powers”. There is just SO MUCH TO DISCUSS!!!! Ahhhhhh
