Also, that passage Hamilton read from Empire of Pain was infuriating. What absolute piece of garbage Sackler is. Anyways, I’m a big fan of these episodes that deal specifically with drug policy.

2022-04-30 16:09:46 +0000 UTCI think the best approach to solving the black market issue is simply the carrot approach; enforcing regulations tends to be much more costly than subsidising good behaviour, and by subsidising good behaviour you ensure that the market follows suit, thus outcompeting any potential black market, making it a venture that is not likely to yield any returns.
